Day 347 – Jesus is our Joy
“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
– Psalm 16:11
Christmas points to the greatest love story ever known. It is a story of a heartbroken Father, who gave up the most precious treasure He had, His Son, Who went willingly, to get back the most precious thing He lost— His creation. Let us reflect and give thanks on this day, as we “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God” (1 John 3:1).
Jesus is our joy restored, because “He Himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins— and not only our sins but the sins of all the world” (1 John 2:2). For this and so much more, we say “thank you” to the Son who gave up His place in Heaven to become the Savior of the world, that we might have life, and may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
